It is very important for people to live life to the fullest because, otherwise, there is no point in living. Working hard, making money and then finally living the existence you have always dreamed of is the end reward. Ulysses felt the same; he wanted to experience new things until the day he died. This is the way everyone should feel. People should live "life to the lees" or everything that is important will pass by, leaving only disappointment and regret.
