I started by wanting to make a design that is reflectional, translational, and rotational symmetry. I started with 4 red triangles. They have symmetry in every way. Now look at the four small light green triangles. You will see that it also has symmetry in every way. The big green triangles just outside the light green triangles, again they have a reflection, rotation, and translation. Now to the yellow lines and they also have all three kinds of symmetry: rotation, reflection and translation. Are you getting bored? Because the purple border is the same as everything else so far. It has all three types of symmetry. My entire design is symmetrical. The entire page has translational, rotational and reflectional symmetry. Devon |
