This group plans to sense the presence of the film container by using a touch sensor. They have a large platform for the RCX unit and a cargo section for the film container.

They plan to sound an alarm and then move forward to carry the container once it is loaded.

 

 

This is what we built the first day and we couldn't get the RCX to work. We are all working together. The motor is going on C and the touch sensor is on 1.The light is going on A. (Inputs are either 1, 2, or 3 while outputs are A, B, or C.)

We need to add on to the back of the robot so the protram will fit. (The RCX Unit has the IR sensor at the front. If students build over the IR sensor, the computer and the RCX Unit cannot communicate.)

Here we are showing the class what our robot will do.
This is the robot. It moves fast.
