Welcome To The United Church
UNITED CHURCH IN THE
PRESENT
UNITED CHURCH IN THE
FUTURE

Following are the reflections of one student from the 2/3 classrooms at Dr. Morris Gibson Elementary school after visiting the United Church and envisioning it in the past:

This church looks fairly new. It is a reddish color because it is made out of rusty bricks. When I look at the United Church, I can see spider webs and a huge table on the floor. There are chairs made of wood as well. There are a lot of spider webs on the table and chairs. Every time I go into  the Church, I light a candle so I can see where I am going. On the inside it looks moldy and dusty. I walk into the bathroom. It smells very bad. It smells like old, used soap. It is lovely to be inside the United Church. It is always fun to come to the United Church and the other buildings that  surround it. Often, we ride in a wagon to get there. I see pumpkins on the way. I wish I could cut the pumpkin and take the seeds out of the pumpkin and toast them for dinner. Outside, an owl will 'hoot' as I sleep. It is fun to go in a wagon when we go to the United Church.
