The Milk Jug
Following is a story by a student from the 2/3 classrooms at Dr. Morris Gibson Elementary school.  This artifact belongs to the family of the author, however it could have been found in the Welch in the past.

This is a glass milk bottle that was use to carry milk a long time ago. It is made of glass because they didn't have plastic or cardboard containers like today. A milkman delivered the milk to people's houses. I think he would probably keep it cold by putting it in bricks of ice.
