The Frogs
Following is a story by a student from the 2/3 classrooms at Dr. Morris Gibson Elementary school.  This artifact belongs to the family of the author, however it could have been found in the Morrison House in the past.

These frogs belonged to my grandmother. She got them when she was a small child living in Germany. The frogs are green and they have yellow stripes. Their bellies and legs are yellow too. These are the kind of frogs that hop loudly when you wind them up. When they hop, they make a little ribbit sound. The ribbit sounds like a piece of metal is hitting

something softly. In order to use them, you have to have the key. The key has a little wave at the top and then it curves down the side. It is a brownish colour. These frogs are special to our family because my grandmother has had them since she was small and we've never lost the key in all the years we've had it.
