IN THE PRESENT |

| This is the Baptist Church. People go to church here. If you walk into it, you can see that the walls are dusty and gray. You can hear the floor creaking because the wood is getting old. The wood feels rough and bumpy, almost as if you might get splinters if you ran your hand over it. When I | look at it from the outside, it is a
dull white color with a dreary look.
As I walk into the church, I smell flowers. They smell very sweet and fruity. The smells are so powerful. I feel as though I haven't slept for days because I am so full of energy. I see that there is a piano . |
I can almost hear the music playing while
the people softly talk in the background. I run out the front doors to
play in the tall grass. My friends and I play a game of tag while the crickets
chirp in the distance. I can barely hear them sing their song.
Whenever I pass the Baptist Church, I am very happy. |

| This looks like a very fun church. I would like to go to this church. I open the door, and go inside the building. The door slams behind me. I feel the wall. It feels bumpy and slimy and I see stairs and a | window. I hear a squeak every time I walk up the stairs. When I get upstairs I see another window and a bell. My whole class gets to ring the bell. When we get down the stairs I see chairs and lots of windows. | I see lots of spider webs on the wall and the roof. There is a back door. I see lots of flowers growing in the grass they are red and purple. I go back inside the church. The floor creeks every time I walk on it. |
